Preston North End have parted ways with manager Ryan Lowe, the Championship club confirmed on Monday.
After just one game of the 2024-25 season, the 45-year-old has left by mutual consent.
Preston fell to a 2-0 defeat at home to Sheffield United on the opening day, leading Lowe to be booed off the pitch by fans.
He has been at the helm for two and a half years, overseeing 125 matches. In that time, he has guided Preston to 13th, 12th, and 10th-place finishes and leaves with a win percentage of 38%.
We can confirm that manager Ryan Lowe has left the club by mutual consent.
We’d like to thank Ryan for his hard work and wish him all the very best for the future.

The touchdown market has become one of the most popular and potentially profitable props in the NFL betting world. Each week, we’re going to throw down three to four units as we try to uncover some of the best weekly NFL TD props and dig into the matchups that surround them.
With two weeks to go in the regular season, we’re looking to finish off strong. We’re jumping on the Buffalo passing game yet again, taking a hometown boy in Kansas City, fading the Ravens and taking the smart play in Dallas.

Who knew that when you trade massive draft capital and give $140 million to one offensive player, giving him as many touches per game as possible would be good for your team?
Certainly not Las Vegas head coach Josh McDaniels… until recently, when he started force-feeding the ball to megastar wide receiver Davante Adams — and the Raiders’ offense has picked up its play.
So for my TNF spotlight this week, I’m going to follow suit and force-feed you Davante Adams props.
Our Raiders vs. Rams betting preview is (rightfully) down on the Rams, whose current NFL odds see them getting nearly a touchdown at home, but my free NFL picks are taking a more positive perspective… and cashing in on LA’s misfortune.

Christmas Day features a triple-header for NFL action! The middle of the three games will be in Philadelphia, as the New York Giants look to play spoiler against the struggling Eagles.
The Week 16 odds are heavily in favor of the home team, as they look to end a three-game losing streak. However, the Giants have been scrappy with Tommy DeVito under center and won three straight before his injury last week.
Find out what my NFL picks are for this Christmas day affair when I take a deep dive into the NFL odds.

The Sunday night showdown between the Los Angeles Rams and Detroit Lions has the highest O/U of Week 1, but I’m not hesitating to take the Over.
See why I’m also expecting a shootout between the Jaguars and Dolphins while betting on a sluggish contest in Cincinnati. Here are my three favorite NFL picks in the totals markets for Week 1.

The Czech Republic have topped Group A and booked their spot in the Euro 2012 quarter-finals with a 1-0 victory over co-hosts Poland.
Poland needed maximum points to progress to the last eight but a 72nd-minute goal from Czech midfielder Petr Jiracek against the run of play denied Frankciszek Smuda s men.
The Wolfsburg midfielder made a bustling into the penalty area and danced past his opposition to tuck the ball under the oncoming Przemyslaw Tyton.

Desperate to move one step closer to booking their spot at next year s European Championships, Scotland will welcome Israel to an empty Hampden on Thursday night.
Starting with the hosts, last seen putting in what was another eye-catching display as they landed a 2-1 win away at the Czech Republic on Nations League duties last month, Scotland have made a string of improvements since appointing Steve Clarke. Enjoying what has been by far their most fruitful run in recent memory and with their 1-1 draw against Israel the only minor blip on their record over the past 12 months, it does appear there is a new-found confidence in the Tartan Army s camp. Signing off their EURO 20201 qualifying campaign with a real flurry and wi…
Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is under immense pressure, as his team face Leeds in the FA Cup
The remaining FA Cup fixtures take place on Sunday and Monday.
One of the biggest games of Sunday takes place at the Etihad Stadium, where Premier League champions Manchester City host Championship Leeds.
The visitors knocked out Premier League outfit Tottenham in the last round and will head to Manchester with nothing to lose.
The FA Cup now seems to be Manchester City’s last chance to win silverware this season.
City boss Roberto Mancini is now under immense pressure to win matches and a defeat to lower league opposition could cost the Italian his job.

For the first time in NFL history, we will have a Week 18 of the regular season. It provides the same challenges of any regular season finale – some teams already have playoff positions secured and seeds clinched, while others are competing for seeding or a playoff spot. On top of it all, every team will be playing matchups centered within their own division.
Here’s a look at my favorite NFL parlay picks across both Saturday and Sunday in Week 18.
